Drako Motors has focused on a singular mission since it was founded in Silicon Valley by American entrepreneurs, Dean Drako and Shiv Sikand: Create stunning, driver focused supercars that deliver exhilarating performance with maximum control and safety—on road and track. After almost a decade of unrelenting design, engineering and track development behind closed doors, Drako Motors has launched its first limited production electric supercar—Drako GTE.
With 2,000 horsepower, 0-60 mph acceleration in 1.9 seconds and a top speed of over 200 mph, Drako Dragon is not just a new vehicle–it’s a new kind of vehicle.
Engineered in Silicon Valley and designed and crafted in Italy, the stunning, all-electric Drako Dragon takes electric hypercars to the next level.
Scaling the Continental Divide in the depths of winter at temperatures below 0 degrees Celsius might not seem like the prime use of an all-electric hypercar, but if that hypercar is the Drako GTE, that’s just the warmup.
Thermal architecture from the Mars 2020 Perseverance Rover enables Drako GTE to have the highest continuous output EV battery in production today.
Sikand, the executive vice president and co-founder, explained why he and Drako decided to build cars, how their philosophy differs from other electric vehicle manufacturers, and how he thinks a high-performance EV ought to drive.
The latest member of the 200-mph Club is an absolute monster.
The GTE looks to revolutionize performance driving as we know it.
The GTE packs a staggering 1,200 hp, 6,490 ft lbs of torque and can hit 206 mph.
Drako GTE made its track debut at the Thermal Club Raceway and former legendary Lamborghini Chief Test Driver, Valentino Balboni, was at the wheel showcasing Drako GTE’s superpowers. View press release.
